The exhibition "Painted Journey to the Land of the Three Dimensions" deals with "a material which, [...] is presented as densely interwoven, vigorous, forming orographic features on the surface of the painting. On occasions like this, painting thus becomes an exercise of will, not only visual, but also - and above all - a tactile and sensual exercise. We place the tips of our eyes on it as if they were those of our fingers, following an irregular and uneven journey", explains the curator of this exhibition, Francisco Carpio. Hollingsworth's painting has always unfolded in the generosity of the material that each painting offers, in this exhibition, we will continue to contemplate waterfalls and pictorial volcanoes, where colour will continue to manifest itself in a physicality that few artists manage to achieve. The Ana Serratosa Gallery proposes to the spectator a journey through infinite orographies that will surely activate the tactile capacity of the spectator.
