Bill Thompson

The work of Bill Thompson (1957, Ipswich. Lives and works in Boston) configures a process of constant investigation around the study and application of colour in different formats and dimensions, mainly in the field of sculpture. His creations, clearly indebted to minimalism, are halfway between painting and sculpture, although he himself prefers to consider them as objects, almost as a living entity, because the pieces of this American artist do not seek physical beauty, but the purity of their curves and reliefs.
